Questions, answered

How does delivery work?

Boxes ship Monday or Tuesday so nothing sits in a truck over a weekend, and most orders arrive within 1 to 3 days of leaving us. Everything travels frozen, packed with dry ice inside an insulated liner. Shipping is a flat $14.97 per order, whatever size box you build. We currently ship to the lower 48 states.

What if I am not home when it arrives?

You do not need to be there. Your tracking tells you the delivery day, and the box holds temperature through that day, so it is fine on the porch until you get home that evening. Move the bags to the freezer as soon as you bring them in. If the dry ice has run out, that is normal and not a problem: it is meant to. What matters is that the bags still feel cold and firm. If a bag arrives genuinely thawed or warm, do not use it and let us know.

How long does it keep?

Keep it frozen and it is good until the best-by date printed on the bag. Once you thaw a bag, treat it like any cooked protein: keep it in the refrigerator and use it within 3 to 4 days. Do not refreeze a bag you have already thawed.

Can I skip, swap, or cancel?

All three, from your account, with no phone call and no cancellation fee. You pick how often your box arrives when you build it, and you can change the timing, swap bags, skip a delivery, or stop altogether whenever you like.

Is it really fully cooked?

Yes. Every bag is cooked through in a USDA-inspected plant and frozen the same day, so there is no raw handling in your kitchen. Thaw a bag in the refrigerator, then warm only the portion you want, in the microwave or a skillet, to 165°F. Exact times are printed on every bag and listed on each product page.
